When I arrived at my parents' (who are both in their 80s), I was very overwhelmed with what needed to be done. When the moving guys came to the house, I knew I was not ready, but didn't know what else to do since I had to fly back to Dallas that weekend. Your lead man Calvin made a call to the office. Two more men were sent out with boxes and helped finish packing, and everything was packed and loaded. I wanted to let you know what an absolutely fabulous job your company did in managing and executing our moving project in conjunction with the re-carpeting of our offices. The crew was here early every day for five days moving our office in coordination with the carpeting company. This was done during the day and we were able to continue operations during the various phases. They made sure furniture was moved from one part of our office to the other with minimal disruption; being mindful that our staff was continuing to work and move around the office during the project.

They took on a huge job of dismantling and reassembling our clerical cubicles. It was not easy, as our equipment is pretty old and had been reconfigured several times in the past 12 years. They made it all look just like new, and we really appreciated the effort they made. Besides these three specific gentlemen, there were three others and they all worked equally hard at getting our job done well. The crew showed professionalism in handling a complicated job.

Not a thing was lost or broken and we can thank your crew for that. This is the second time we have used your company, and you can be assured we will call on you again should the need arise.

"Colonial Van & Storage, Inc. was contracted to move our environmental laboratory that uses many sensitive and expensive instruments, such as gas chromatographs and inductively coupled argon mass spectrometers. Our company's goal was to move the entire contents of the 8,000 square foot facility to our current 16,000 square foot facility over the weekend so that the laboratory could continue to operate the following Monday. Colonial Van & Storage, Inc. facilitated the move and the laboratory was able to meet our goals. The operations manager, Doug Welton, Jr. and his employees were very organized and professional. They understood that the instruments were delicate and ensured that they were handled as so. All of the instruments were successfully moved and operational after. Doug went above and beyond the scope of the project by supplying us with additional packing crates and moving additional items that were not originally contracted. I highly recommend Doug Welton, Jr. and his employees at Colonial Van & Storage, Inc. based on our experience with the moving of the laboratory. My name is Dell Truax and I recently moved from Long Island, NY to Durango, Co. Paul Holland of Pak Pro LLC was my driver. I wanted to let you know how lucky you are to have him associated with your company. He loaded my family 's belongings on June 12. We were closing on our house in Durango on June 16. We ran into trouble with the bank and our closing was pushed off. He would call me from the road to see how we were making out. He was able to push our delivery date back to June 29. As the delivery date got closer we realized the bank would not have the paperwork done in time. Paul continued to call me from the road and help me with ideas on what to do with our stuff He even went as far as to talk with my mortgage broker and real estate agent to try to come up with a solution. We ended up putting my stuff in a storage facility. Paul unloaded our things and once again went above what was required. He left my furnishings wrapped in blankets and took extreme care in stacking it. My real estate agent was there and said it was refreshing to see that there are still good caring people in the world. They say moving is one ofthe most stressful things you do in life and they are right. Paul's caring and guidance made a very stressful time a lot easier. I was never worried about my family 's belongings because I trusted Paul. I knew he cared and would not let anything happen to our stuff With all we were dealing with from the bank, it was a very calming feeling to talk to Paul. I hope you keep Paul very busy. He is a credit to your company and I would recommend him with 100 % confidence in his ability, work ethic and professionalism. Working with you, Colonial Van Lines, and Allied made a nerve-wracking experience much less traumatic than it could have been. My driver, Sean, had a sunny calmness that buoyed me through the process. The crew sent up from Sacramento was unflinchingly industrious, filled with creative problem solvers, and cheerful to boot. Those who worked on my behalf on the Indiana end were equally delightful and undaunted by the problems presented with getting me into this Victorian here.

Dear Ken:
Thanks very much for the great counsel and great work on the relocation of our offices. From the pre-move meetings with you on what needed to be done, to the labeling and floor plan drawings, to the actual move; it all went great! It was sight to see the three trucks pull up to the old office at 8:00 AM, nine guys pile out and load it all in 90 minutes. And it was just about that fast on the other end so we were largely up and running by mid afternoon. The crew was careful, efficient and friendly. A very positive experience!
